I spent some time looking on my phone and PC for a single picture that could sum up what Jan was to me but no single image i could find captured her kindness, her understanding, her infinite patients in challenging situations, how fun loving she was, how adventurous she was, how determined and dogged she could be, the huge amount of empathy she had for others, the love she showed to her family and close friends. I feel so proud and privileged that she was my big sister …….. Colin
